NFL Legend Aaron Donald Receives a Rams-Sized $100,000 Donation from Raising Cane’s in Los Angeles
LOS ANGELES (May 30, 2025) – Raising Cane’s is gearing up for a major Community touchdown, donating $100,000 to Hall-of-Fame-bound Los Angeles Rams defensive legend Aaron Donald’s nonprofit AD99 Foundation, which supports youth in underserved communities through programs in education, athletics and the arts. Founded by Donald and his wife in 2018 midway through his illustrious, 10 season professional career as a Ram, AD99 Foundation was born from his personal experience growing up and his strong desire to help under-resourced youth achieve success through education and mentorship.
The $100,000 donation stems from proceeds Raising Cane’s raised during its Graduation Plush Puppy campaign running now through June 10, celebrating the hardworking class of 2025 by selling limited-edition, tassel-wearing plush puppies in-Restaurant and online at RaisingCanesGear.com for $9.99 plus tax. Inspired by Cane’s yellow lab namesake, the Graduation Plush Puppy features Cane III in her graduation cap, having proudly fetched her diploma.
From 10 to 10:30 a.m. PT on Tuesday, June 3 Donald will join Raising Cane’s at its Burbank, California Restaurant to celebrate the generous donation that will help create even more opportunities for young people to grow, succeed and reach their full potential. While at the Restaurant, Donald will accept the $100,000 donation on behalf of the AD99 Foundation.
